Paul rebukes the Corinthian church for placing their allegiance in human leaders, urging them to instead focus on Christ as the ultimate source of everything, stating that "all things are yours" - meaning everything belongs to them through their connection to Christ, including the world, life, death, the present, and the future (1 Cor 3:20-23).
